Senior Track and Trace Coordinator (Remote, Must Reside in Louisville, KY Area)

The Track and Trace Coordinator will be responsible for tracking all truckload shipments shipping from a designated Appliance Distribution Center (ADC’s) or Manufacturing Factory. This person must be able to strongly communicate with our GEA team, carriers, ADCs and customers of any shipping delays utilizing multiple programs – OTM, iDS, TrackX, or OTR Vis provider. The ability to critically think through situations; identify quick and efficient solutions which minimize customer impact is essential. The track and trace coordinator will also be responsible for recording accurate data to help enable transportation managers to negotiate rates or to make service-related decisions. This person will also need to be able to navigate through Microsoft Access and Excel to provide reporting to logistics and transportation. This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in the Louisville, KY area. The shift for this role is 5:30am – 2:00pm ET **Position** Senior Track and Trace Coordinator (Remote, Must Reside in Louisville, KY Area) **Location** USA, Louisville, KY **How You'll Create Possibilities** + Utilize a variety of technology programs, primarily Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), to identify late deliveries and proactively resolve or notify customers for resolution + Resolve active delivery issues such as missed shipments, load re-delivery, missing paperwork or paperwork discrepancies, detention, jobsites not ready + Recover new deliveries after original carrier failures. This may involve collecting shipment quotes from brokers, negotiating spot rates, and re-assigning loads + Act as a liaison with the Appliance Distribution Centers and motor carrier management, identifying missing equipment and helping Appliance Distribution Centers meet required bill times to meet on time deliveries for customers + Interact daily with Customer Service, field sales, and customers to proactively solve issues before they arise + Accurately record on time data within the database + Partner with the Transportation Manager to identify lanes not meeting service standards + Report out transportation service scores in “POD” meetings + Email with GE Appliances internal teams to provide status updates on orders or help direct other inquiries + Confirm reschedule appointments with receivers – customers, SDS agents, ADC’s + Cross-train with team members and update documentation and SOPs to drive standard work and process improvement **What You'll Bring to Our Team** **Position Requirement:** + Proficient in MS Excel and Web Based applications + Strong communication skills, both oral and written + Demonstrates Clear Thinker and External Focus as strengths + Process focused and has proven record of resolving issues in a fast-paced environment + Capable of multi-tasking and executing with strong attention to detail + Ability to work a 5:30am – 2:00pm ET shift **Minimum Qualifications:** + Associate or bachelor’s degree or minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience **Preferred Qualifications:** + Previous experience in order service, sales, transportation, or logistics + Previous experience in developing and working from Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) + Views changes in our internal and external processes as an opportunity to grow and improve + Clear thinker in a fast-paced environment, energized by empowerment and accountability + Ability to speak additional languages is a positive, specifically Spanish **Our Culture** At GE Appliances, creativity meets passion and conversations lead to exceptional outcomes and experiences.
