Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the Transportation sector and will have the opportunity to work on variety of projects.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Lead and/or assist with analysis and design efforts in the following areas:
Road safety reviews and audits, which may include:
Collision analysis. HSM methodology. Countermeasure identification. Network screening. Road safety data analysis. Human factors consideration. Complete operational reviews. Proficient in use of Synchro software. Familiarity with VISSIM is desirable. Arrange site visits and data collection.Design of traffic operations devices and facilities, including:
Pavement markings and signs. Traffic signals design. Traffic management plans for roadway and infrastructure projects. Accesses and intersections, complete streets, traffic calming etc. Active transportation facilities, including Pedestrian Crossovers. Introduction of innovative technologies and tools. Policy development for all levels of road authorities. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client communications.Assist with Transportation Group project management and business development:
Project proposals. Task delivery, budget management and quality control. Lead small projects/tasks independently. Supervise the work of junior team members. Make a positive contribution to the overall team culture and environment.
