At AECOM, we are currently looking for a Senior Traffic Signals Engineer to join our National Traffic Control Engineering Team. The National Team are located in various offices across the UK so there is flexibility in base office location. AECOM operates a hybrid working policy and you will have the opportunity to work remotely. Exact requirements of this hybrid policy and base office location will be agreed upon award of position. You will, however, need to be flexible with travelling across the UK to attend site work when needed. The need to work outside of normal working hours may also be required, at times.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing technical leadership on projects involving traffic signal design and / or implementation supportEnsuring the highest levels of quality in project deliverablesWorking on projects in both the public and private sectorsDesigning and validating MOVA and SCOOT systemsTravelling to various site locations as project demands dictateUtilising CAD and traffic modelling software such as LinSigApplying CDM 2015, health & safety management, and environmental standardsProject management and bid supportProvide technical support for project team members.Job Requirements:
Experience in carrying out FAT & SATExperience with MOVA and SCOOT design, validation experience, desirableUTC database experience, an advantageExperience of Bus Priority design and applicationCompetent in the use of CAD and LinSigKnowledge of health & safety management, quality, and environmental standardsCome grow with us.
