About the Role
As Babcock continues to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our dynamic team. In today’s competitive landscape, businesses must align every aspect of their operations with strategic goals—and training is no exception. You will play a pivotal role in shaping training programmes that drive skill development in the Project Management Domain. This is a unique opportunity to work in a team that leads the analysis, development, delivery, assessment, and management of training within Babcock's Registered Training Organisation (RTO), while providing essential support to all training personnel.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting compliant training and assessment activities, ensuring they align with industry, company, and regulatory best practices. You will develop and maintain training and competency frameworks, identify facility and infrastructure needs, and create both formal and on-the-job training programmes. Coordination of training schedules, course delivery, and regular reviews of course content will also be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you’ll provide valuable feedback and support to learners, ensuring training effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
You’ll contribute to internal and external audits, assist with RTO administration and reporting, and support the management of external training providers. As a Trainer and Assessor, you will also be responsible for producing technical documentation, supporting knowledge capture, and ensuring the safety and effectiveness of training activities. You’ll apply your expertise to technical discussions with customers, provide advice on RTO operations, and assess risk within your domain.
