As the Senior Training Specialist for our Bardy Diagnostic division, you will be responsible for creating content for training programs and courses. This position will analyze training needs, deliver training courses and workshops in support of critical initiatives related to systems and processes, update or create course materials to reflect changes in processes or systems to ensure learning. This includes instructional design, course materials creation, supporting communications, instructing/facilitating, and performance support.

Bardy Diagnostics, Inc. (“BardyDx”) is an innovator in digital health and remote patient monitoring, with a focus on providing the most diagnostically accurate and patient-friendly cardiac and vital signs patch monitors in the industry.

What you'll be doing

Curate training content, outline and determine instructional methods using knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, e-Learning, meetings, and workshops.

Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and team members to create impactful business engagement and communication materials that support the delivery of effective training.

Partner with team members to conduct detailed learning needs analysis to identify priority areas for training development and determine appropriate solution to meet business needs, including communications, training, and performance support.

Build and maintain training and support materials (training handbooks, manuals, participant guides, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, e-Learnings and reference works).

Deliver Virtual, e-Learning, and in-person Instructor led technical training for ongoing process, clinical and product training as needed to internal and external customers.

Develops and delivers onboarding program for Front Line Care, Revenue Cycle Management new hire team members.

Plan, prioritize and identify training needs for new product launches, initiatives, and process changes.

Continually evaluate effectiveness of training and development programs, and applying relevant evaluation data, revise or recommend changes in training objectives and methods.

Build and maintain a positive and professional learning environment.

Stays on top of training and development trends: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.

Partners with Human Resources, Front Line Care leadership, IT, and other Baxter learning professions.

What you'll bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, Communications, or proven experience and/or appropriate certifications may be substituted.

3+ years of training experience preferable in Medical/Healthcare industry or 5+ years of training experience with no industry experience.

3+ years of experience in writing training manuals, participant guides, and/or training handbooks for Revenue Cycle Management.

Knowledge of industry related learning management systems (preferably Cornerstone on Demand) and delivery tools.

Knowledge of standard methodologies of training using adult learning methods and techniques.

Extensive experience in leading all aspects of the training process (assessing needs, coordinating, developing, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating) across different instructor-led, virtual, or online learning environments.

Demonstrated ability in creating course content and practical experience in instructional/learning experience design.

Efficient time management.

Excellent organization skills and business leadership skills such as: communication, motivation, persuasion and leadership is required.

Demonstrated ability to lead with indirect authority cross-functionally.

Continuous Improvement experience desired.

Strong PC skills using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel Microsoft Teams, Visio, SharePoint, as well as educational authoring software such as Articulate 360 or Captive.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 to $121,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
