The Role
Condé Nast has embarked on a significant transformation; to modernise its business creating a truly global organisation, to grow audiences and to develop new and exciting products. The Transformation & Delivery team supports these efforts, sitting centrally within the organisation as an objective support partner, to drive the cross-functional collaboration required to execute Condé Nast’s strategic goals.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project manager to set up, oversee and drive strategic growth and enablement initiatives within our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving and supporting complex cross-functional initiatives to achieve business objectives.
What will you be doing?
Lead and manage end-to-end transformation projects from initiation through to close, carefully monitoring and controlling delivery throughout.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget estimation.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of project activities.
Facilitate change management activities to ensure successful adoption and implementation of transformation initiatives.
Assist in development of stakeholder communications, training materials, and other key collateral to drive and support awareness of roll-outs.
Drive project execution by overseeing project tasks, managing risks, and proactively addressing any issues or obstacles.
Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and organisational effectiveness.
Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and provide recommendations for future projects.
Contribute thought leadership in the disciplines of project management to drive continuous improvement across Condé Nast.
Who you are:
Relevant project management qualification(s): Prince2, Agile PM, APMP, PMI or similar. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field would be desirable (but not necessary).
Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in leading transformational projects within complex organisations (experience in the media sector would be desirable as is working in a global, matrixed organisation).
Experience in supporting change management, training development, and stakeholder management for technology and product rollouts is preferred.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to drive change and navigate through ambiguity and resistance.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels in a global organisation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Highly proficient with G-Suite / MS Office.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Smartsheets, MS Project, etc.)
