Due to continued growth, our Power Delivery group is seeking to hire several Senior Transmission Line Engineer(s). This position can be in Kennesaw, GA, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Lake Mary, FL, Nashville, TN, Dallas, TX, Pensacola, FL or Tampa, FL. This position is also open to other ENERCON locations in the Mountain, Central and Eastern time zones, and possibly remote for the right candidate.

Responsibilities Design transmission lines from 69 kV to 765 kVStrategize and meet with peers and clients to determine specific project needs and requirements such as conductor selection, pole utilization, and route optimizationWork with vendors to identify potential materials, equipment, and new design solutions to solve dynamic client requirementsUtilize PLS-CADD to develop, review and check transmission line models, conductor sags, plan, and profile drawings, and verify right of way requirementsCoordinate small design teams as needed to prepare scoping documents, design criteria, and project deliverablesProvide clients with engineering assistance during construction, and be available to attend construction meetings, coordination efforts, and community outreach as needed Perform other duties as required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical EngineeringMinimum of 7 years’ experience specifically with transmission line designSolid knowledge of PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and foundation design software such as MFAD, L-Pile or similarFamiliarity and working knowledge of appropriate design techniques, tools, and software involved in the production of project deliverables including plan and profile drawings, structure utilization reports, and material coordinationSolid knowledge of NESC, IEEE, ASCE 7 and AISCExcellent written and oral communication skills required
