The Traveler Counsellor role at GBT requires an outstanding travel service experience for our Corporate Business Customers. By working together as a high performing team, our Travel Counsellors provide outstanding traveler care, first call / email resolution and the highest quality of customer service to GBT corporate clients. It is a high touch service environment, where you will have true accountability for the service relationship and customer experience, by providing creative and timely travel solutions, using available tools and technology as needed, while improving supplier revenue.
This role works at the Backend working on refund supporting Asia Pacific Region and reports to a Team Coach.
**What you will do on a Typical Day:**
+ Incumbent will be responsible to efficiently handle travel requirements for Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong or India customer.
+ Complete knowledge in Refunds on GDS/BSP.
+ Should be skilled to provide excellent customer service to all GBT clients.
+ Maintain ongoing, collaborative, working relationships with co-workers to achieve customer and business goals. Influence decisions and strong negotiation skills towards the most beneficial outcomes for the client and the company
+ Flexible to adapt and learn new tasks and keen to multi-tasking.
+ Flexible to support other line of business process if needed
+ Ability to diffuse difficult situations, turning negative experiences into positive and provide appreciation and clarity to internal and external clients
**What we are looking for:**
+ Bachelor Degree Holder
+ Minimum 4-5 years + of proven experience in refunds Domestic and international /BSP/GDS refunds process. international ticketing/Fare/Cancellation /refunds complete knowledge.
+ Vast knowledge of GDS system- Sabre and Galileo is a required requirement.
+ Exchange – Domestic & International (Full & Partial)
+ Knowledge of Fare calculation and key checks to avoid ADMs.
+ Point of sale knowledge of AU/ SG/HK markets would be added advantage. Good PC skills, MS office applications (MS Word, Excel Power point & Outlook.
+ Excellent spoken and written communication (English)
+ Ability to work under demanding/difficult situations
+ Good understanding of key drivers of customer happiness
+ Carries a positive and focused approach at workplace
+ Good problem-solving skills and attention to details
