Senior Treasury Analyst

Overview:

Cadence Design Systems is looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst with knowledge of cash and bank account management.  The ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills, be detailed-oriented, and be able to work independently on projects.  This role will join a collaborative team that works across departments and geographies within a publicly traded software company with $4.0B+ in annual revenue.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably finance or accounting1-3 years of Treasury experienceStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams across the organization and with external partnersDetail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and have a desire to identify and implement process improvementsExperience with treasury systems (Bloomberg, Kyriba, Chatham, and online banking portals) is preferredCertified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

Cash and Investment Management

Determine daily cash position for entities in US, Canada, and BrazilInitiate and approve electronic fund transfersSettle and monitor intercompany balancesInvest in money market funds and savings accounts. Monitor investments for policy complianceMaintain and set-up bank account services and signatoriesMaintain treasury workstation and online banking portalsMonitor bank feesAssist with the implementation of new US bank accounts following the issuance of an RFP in 2025

Cash Flow Forecasting

Prepare and/or assist with the preparation of short-term cash flow forecasts

Foreign Exchange

Assist with back-office confirmations and settlements

Insurance

Prepare applications for property and casualty insurance policiesAssist with preparation and distribution of certificates of insurance

Other Treasury Activities

Monitor daily purchases and initiate wires to settle open market share repurchases.  Initiate DWAC request to retire shares quarterlyProvide interest rates to accounting team for lease accounting discount ratesPrepare monthly and quarterly treasury operating package with key performance metricsSOX and internal control reports

Provide support to department in other areas including internal control monitoring, treasury analysis, financing transactions and special projects.

Location:

San Jose is preferred, but open to other locations depending on candidate's background/experience.

The annual salary range for California is $88,200 to $163,800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
