JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to Assistant Treasurer, Senior Treasury Analyst will play a key role in the global corporate treasury group, responsible for maintaining and further improving ATS Cash Flow Forecasting processes and technologies, analyzing working capital trends globally and Liquidity indicators on a permanent basis. Senior Treasury Analyst will take ownership of bank guarantees across the globe and actively support risk management initiatives including strategic and tactical FX and IR hedges across multiple capital markets including North America, Europe and Asia. Senior Treasury Analyst will be highly involved in the quarterly Financial Reporting cycle working closely with ATS corporate finance team with deep exposure to Financial Statements Analysis, SOX compliance, Hedge Accounting. Senior Treasury Analyst will also actively support the transactional activity of ATS Global Insurance programs and perform as pivotal resource to maintain Treasury systems, banking platforms in compliance with internal controls. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Cash Flow Forecast and Treasury Operations • Maintain and update ATS Treasury Liquidity Model on a permanent basis and support the Treasury Team with the weekly cash flow reports and daily cash balance consolidation. • Actively implement automation and integration initiatives to further enable cash flow forecasting capabilities, cash performance analytics and improved visibility of working capital sources/uses globally. • Work with the Assistant Treasurer on the biweekly preparation of cash strategy reports to keep updated ATS executive team. • Become primary user and subject matter expert (SME) of Treasury Management System (Kyriba) to maintain bank accounts, banks signatories, IC loans, bank guarantees. • Actively participate in Kyriba upgrades and implementation of new treasury and reporting functionalities to drive operational efficiency and mitigate risk of disruption. • Maintain ATS core banking platforms accessible to authorized users and with the required security protocols to operate bank accounts, bank reports and banking services that are critical for ATS treasury operation globally. • Support KYC DD companywide, assist with opening/closing bank accounts as required, keep authorized signing authorities, user entitlements, bank accounts and legal entities updated in Kyriba on permanent basis. • Monitor liquidity needs of group divisions and propose funding strategies either through intercompany loan facilities or capital injections across multiple jurisdictions. Financial Assurances: LCs and Bank Guarantees (BGs). • Coordinate and liaise with division teams required actions and documentation to satisfy customer inquiries on financial assurances tied to cash deposits on ATS projects • Take ownership of the process of issuing BGs/LCs with ATS designated financial counterparties that are acceptable to customers for releasing cash deposits • Maintaining Kyriba up to date with o/s LC and/or BGs for accurate reporting, including accrued interests and quarterly fees allocation. • Permanent monitoring of no longer required LCs for timely cancellation/credit line optimization Financial Reporting and Financial Statements Analysis • Participate in the quarterly financial closing and work closely with the Finance team to facilitate quarter end treasury reporting cycle. • Work closely with Assistant Treasurer in Financial Modelling and Financial Statement Analysis to further enable forecasting capabilities and to identify effective levers to optimize use of working capital across the group of divisions. • Analyze Statement of Cash Flows and Operational Performance to provide Assistant Treasurer with helpful insights for cash stress testing and financial compliance sensitivity. • Develop new financial and reporting models/dashboards and enhance Treasury reporting within the organization using our Treasury Management System Platform. • Help prepare quarterly and monthly reporting schedules to support our public company reporting requirements Cont'd Risk Management • Actively work with Assistant Treasurer on strategic and tactical hedges to address Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate exposure for the business globally. • Become a functional backup to monitor and execute Revenue hedges for operating subsidiaries, when required. • Understand our credit facility compliance reporting requirements, and track proforma covenant calculations to ensure compliance with credit facility covenants • Understand corporate FX and derivative hedging programs, ensure hedging reports are accurate, and liaise with business units to discuss their FX and derivative hedging requirements Global Insurance Operations • Support on all insurance related matters and assist in the annual insurance renewal process; gather necessary information/questionnaires/summaries from business units for the annual renewal • Timely response to insurance inquiries from Operating subsidiaries, handling of insurance claims and issuance of COI's on demand basis • Propose creative and improved business workflows to automate Insurance inquiries processing and claims filing across the board. Other Responsibilities • Assist with SOX and internal controls related tasks for the department as required. • Assist Assistant Treasurer with M&A due diligence and integration initiatives as required. • Assist Assistant Treasurer with other special projects as they may arise from time to time. • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct. • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: • A University degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or Equivalent. • Completion or close to completion of CFA, CTP or CPA designation. • MBA degree would be an asset. Skills and Experience: • 5+ years of Treasury Professional experience in public and/or private corporations. • Hands-on experience with Treasury Management Systems and ERP Systems. • Experience in financial reporting, financial statements analysis and financial modeling. • Experience with debt compliance reporting and cash forecasting • Experience with insurance renewals is an asset • Experience with a Treasury Management System is an asset • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills • Detailed oriented, committed, self-motivated and ability to turnaround with high quality deliverables within the required deadlines for the business. • Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment. • Effective communication skills with cross functional teams and financial institutions. • Working knowledge or fluency in German, Italian or Spanish is an asset At ATS, it starts with our People!
