What is the opportunity?
As an expert advisor, you proactively provide advice and enable mid-market commercial clients to leverage RBC’s cash management solutions, taking responsibility for clients’ onboarding, activation and ongoing adoption of digital solutions. Mid-market commercial clients are defined as commercial clients. You develop and deliver on business priorities and improve the client experience through execution of sales plans to acquire new clients and recommend appropriate treasury services to existing clients. You also provide focused financial advice and solutions to meet the clients’ business and financial goals, while partnering with Commercial Financial Services (CFS) team and other colleagues across RBC Financial Group to drive client loyalty and build long-term profitable client relationships.
What will you do?
Lead with a growth mindset, focusing on what’s possible to maximize client acquisition, growth and an exceptional client experienceAct as the single point of contact throughout the cash management end-to-end onboarding process, partner with the relationship team and follow up with clients to ensure an exceptional client experienceDemonstrate digital IQ by building awareness and encouraging clients to fully leverage digital solutions on an ongoing basis to optimize their business’s operationsDeliver financial and business “Insight” advice through a differentiated value proposition by presenting solutions that clearly articulate the benefits and advantages to the client; help the client to understand alternatives, navigate and implement proposed solutions; and identify opportunities and refer clients to RBC Partners to meet the client’s broader advice needsEducate the client with new or emerging issues that will impact their business by providing the client with unique, valuable insights on the client’s industry, business or marketPlan and prioritize client and market activities to win as One RBC, seeking referral opportunities for the relationship team, National Specialized Solutions (NSS) and other RBC partnersGather insights through client discovery to identify a broad range of solutions to further anchor clients to RBC and increase share of walletPartner with the Relationship Manager, Commercial Financial Services and Commercial Banking Advisor to develop a coordinated client contact strategy, ensuring future client needs are identified and metWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Proven experience supporting large clients within the payment spaceProven experience in the financial services industry, specifically within a cash management and treasury solutions roleStrong client focus, highly organized, and the ability to incorporate sales disciplines into day-to-day activities and routinesProven ability to prioritize and adapt to a fast paced environmentCuriosity and willingness to learn new skills while building partnerships with stakeholders and fostering team workExcellent verbal communication skills; notably the ability to illustrate with words the impact of the recommended solutions on the client’s business operation(s) relationshipsEntrepreneurial spirit, with a business development mindset to grow and develop their business opportunitiesNice-to-have
Attained the CTP - Certified Treasury Professional designationMinimum of 5 years of experience working for a financial institutionWhat’s in it for you?
