ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
On behalf of Fifth Third Bank as Trustee understand and administer fiduciary accounts in accordance with the governing documents for trusts over $1MMEnsure adherence to all fiduciary rules, regulations and internal governance throughout the administration of the trustCultivate relationships with local centers of influence including attorneys and accountants to identify both current and future opportunities for Fifth Third Bank to serve as Trustee, Successor Trustee, Executor or Personal Representative.Generate new fiduciary and Private Bank IM&TManage the due diligence process on all new fiduciary appointmentsDemonstrate sound complex decision making skillsMaintain knowledge of current trends and changes in the industry with regard to fiduciary matters (e.g. estate planning and probate, estate, gift and income tax planning, guardianships, special needs trust, state-specific laws)Develop subject matter expertise in fiduciary related areasResponsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
