About The Role:The candidate will be responsible for supporting initial loan sizing and underwriting tasks for commercial real estate (CRE). This includes providing due diligence and real estate analysis for CMBS, agency, securitization, and other CRE loan underwriting and debt consulting services. The role involves managing multiple transactions with various clients under tight deadlines.Job Description:Provide analytical support in underwriting and closing commercial real estate loans, securitizations, or affordable housing loans for our clientsReview, analyze, and interpret financial operating statements, rent rolls, third-party reports, tenant lease agreements, surveys, title reports, zoning reports, property insurance policies, credit reports, and other due diligence documentsAssist with loan closings and procure necessary closing itemsResearch, analyze, and summarize tenant-level information, including financial trends, and credit ratingsResearch, analyze, and summarize market and submarket information, including inventory, absorption, new/proposed developments, and rent and vacancy trendsExtract pertinent data from appraisal, engineering, environmental, and other third-party reportsWrite property, market, borrower/sponsor descriptions, and third-party report summaries for inclusion in credit memos and asset summary reportsAssist in developing value conclusions for all property typesMonitor loan covenants and perform quarterly reviews to ensure compliance with loan terms and conditions, identifying and addressing any potential issues promptlyPerform other activities as assigned by your managerProvide support in the delivery of due diligence and real estate analysis for CMBS, agency multifamily, securitization, and other commercial real estate loan underwriting and debt consulting servicesParticipate in managing multiple transactions with various clients under tight deadlinesSupport initial loan sizing and underwriting tasks for commercial real estate (CRESkillset & Qualification Requirement:
Comprehensive knowledge of the U.S. Commercial Real Estate (CRE) industry across all property types, including Multifamily, Office, Retail, Industrial, Lodging, and HealthcareProficiency in analyzing Property Operating Statements and Rent RollsExperience in evaluating CRE loan originations, reviewing third-party reports (appraisal, environmental, and engineering), and preparing Asset Summary ReportsExpertise in underwriting commercial properties through financial, lease, and rent roll analysisProven track record in end-to-end CRE Portfolio Monitoring for Commercial BanksStrong knowledge in CRE Multifamily loan underwriting, including CMBS guidelines and standards, as well as covenants to protect lenders’ exposure in transactionsAbility to perform complex tasks independently with minimal supervisionStrong self-learning skills and the ability to share best practicesFamiliarity with various data sources such as REIS and CoStarAbility to work independently and complete assignments within prescribed routines and standard accepted practicesAbility to see the big picture and implement at a high level of detailExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customersProficiency in MS Office SuitesAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceStrong time management skills to meet deadlines and accommodate ad-hoc requestsAny graduation/ postgraduate in any disciplinePreferred fields of study include Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, and Business3-12 years’ experience in real estate related or financial services industry, such as appraisal, brokerage, or banking primarily focused on commercial properties and/or master’s degree in business, accounting, finance or real estateNote: This job description is not intended to be all inclusive or exclusive. The annual full time base salary range for this role is
₹1.00 - ₹1.00Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval.
