What you`ll do:
We are looking for an experienced user assistance developer to work on an innovative open source project. Apeiro Reference Architecture (ApeiroRA) is an EU initiative that aims to build a high-performance cloud-edge infrastructure based on European values and ensure European competitiveness in the digital environment in the long run.
As a user assistance developer in the Open Component Model (OCM) and Open Managed Control Plane (OpenMCP), both being key projects in ApeiroRA, you’ll create and review product documentation, define and maintain terminology, provide multimedia deliverables, such as, comprehensive diagrams, videos, tutorials, and community content. To perform these tasks, you’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be gathering actionable feedback and mastering the data-driven content creation, and more.
What you bring:
Experience in creating product documentation, technical writing, and/or UX writing. Ability to simplify complex concepts and present them clearly. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Experience with Markdown in GitHub and GitHub Pages. Experience with command line interfaces (CLI). Knowledge in cloud infrastructure management is a plus. Experience with Kubernetes and container technology is a plus. Ability to work independently and within given time constraints. Proficiency in English. Degree in IT, Technical Writing, or a related field such as English, or Communications. Knowledge and/or conceptual understanding in application development is a plus.Meet your team:
The SAP BTP Experience Foundational Plane team comprises User Assistance Developers, UX Designers and Researchers who work on a wide portfolio of documentation and design deliverables for the SAP BTP runtimes and services, which in turn, are developed by various co-located and international development teams.
