What will you do?

A day in the life of a Senior UX Designer at VF looks a little like this.

This hands-on, Denver-based role allows one to craft the work and enable others to deliver high quality solutions. Designers work closely with the product owners, developers, researchers, and design team to create the next generation of digitally enabled customer experiences in retail.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5 years of experience and professional achievements. 

5+ years of UX experience including expertise in, and exposure to a subset of the following activities (in order of preference):Interaction/information designVisual designUser researchFront end developmentMotion designContent strategyDesign thinking3–5+ years on Agile and/or lean UX teams delivering value in digital products3–5+ years track record conducting/using research to support evidence-focused design decisionsDigital portfolio required, preferably one that shows how you think vs perfect polished work. Messy is goodExcellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skillsGrowth mindset and enjoy learning and growing your knowledgebase and skills.Prior experience working with large development teams and legacy systemsPrior experience with client management or handling big stakeholder teams from prominent brandsFamiliarity with commonly used tools in design, including:Sketch/AbstractInvisionAdobe Creative SuiteEcomm, retail experience preferred.

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements

Travel by air and overnight, ten percent of time

Hiring Range:

$95,040.00 USD - $118,800.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
