The Position

We are a major global biopharmaceutical company, using the power of leading-edge science to save and improve lives around the world. Our Experience Design group is the company’s center of excellence in all things UX and aims to make our company human-centric and design-driven.  

We have an opportunity in our Prague hub for an experienced User Researcher to support company IT and business groups on strategically important products, platforms, and services.  

You will be a key member of our team of 12 User Researchers, part of our wider group of 70 UX professionals (including Designers and Design Thinkers). Most of the group are based in Prague with some colleagues in Singapore and the US. We also cooperate with, and support, other researchers, and designers in company divisions across the globe.  You will help improve our company's experiences with technology, processes, and services so our colleagues can better fulfill their role.

What will you do?

Help IT and business stakeholders to understand user needs, build user understanding and deliver evidence-based solutions and improvementsWork as part of a cross-functional team (with Designers and Design Thinkers) to improve UX maturity across key areas of our companyActively participate in shaping product and organizational strategies Design, lead and execute user research studies using qualitative and quantitative methodologiesAdvocate for a user-centric approach and communicate the value of user research Turn research findings into actionable recommendations Help facilitate discussions leading to practical solutions to user needs and pain points Share experience with other user research colleagues, providing them with constructive feedback and guidance Help democratize user research skills, guidance and training across the company

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

University degree  Significant (ideally 5+ years) experience in User Research  Diverse experience with research methods Comfortable leading projects from start to finish Fluency in English, both verbally and written Positive attitude, adaptability and eagerness to learn Familiarity with the medical / pharma industry would be a plus, but is not a requirement
