Job Description

As a Lead Validation Engineer with a focus on controls and automation domain, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Safety, Security, Reliability and Performance of our products and systems. You will support testing and validation efforts, utilizing your expertise in automated test runs and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage validation activities for controls and automation products and systems (particularly Dynamic Positioning Systems), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations e.g. ANSI/ISA18.2, ISA-95, IEC IEC62443

Develop and execute validation activities with comprehensive test plans, test specifications.

Utilize automated testing tools

Analyse test results, identify issues, and work closely with other test engineers and development teams to resolve defects.

Maintain a detailed documentation of validation processes, test results, and corrective actions.

Continuously improve validation methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Industry recognized certifications e.g. ISTQB, OT Cybersecurity etc.

Understanding and appreciation OT Technologies & SCADA/DCS/Purdue model

Experience in validation engineering, with a focus on complex control systems.

Proven experience with automated testing tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to Automation & Controls Validation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Power, Marine, Oil and Gas, Industrial domain.

Experience in Cyber Security validation and Pen Testing

Experience of project management tools (e.g. JIRA)
