Senior Valuation Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Deliver desktop appraisals for a variety of asset types including commercial aircraft and spare engines and simulators. Research conditions in the local, regional, national, or online markets. Ensure that the type of valuation provided matches the client need. Gather information to determine potential sales of aircraft products or services and plan a marketing or advertising campaign. Gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand. Contribute to and write the company’s suite of commercial aircraft and engine market commentaries. Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text. Assist the global sales team in client growth and retention to understand their needs and identify new opportunities. Deliver joint pitches with the sales team of valuations services, including state of the industry updates to customers. Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with the sales team. Measure and assess customer and employee satisfaction. Contribute to new product development through product ideas and review of existing products (from a customer perspective), and drive development of products for the aviation market. Contribute to current product delivery using skill and market expertise to deliver high quality products. Work on consulting projects, including international projects out of the company’s Europe & Asia offices, as required by the business. Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Aerospace, Engineering, Finance, or a related field required.5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.ISTAT Appraiser Certification required (must have held certification for 5 years).Also required is: 5 years of experience: appraising of commercial aircraft to ISTAT definitions and code of ethics; understanding and performing airline credit analysis; working with maintenance schedules and adjustments, as well as fly-forward forecasting; understanding of international market trends (particularly those in Asia) and how they affect the US / North America market; understanding of commercial aircraft lease agreements, and ability to review them and critique them specially for content related to lease return conditions, maintenance reserves, and lease-end compensation; performing discounted cash flow analysis and modelling cash flows; and forecasting future Base Value curves to ISTAT definitions.Employee reports to LNRS Data Services, Inc. office in New York, NY, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.Experience can be concurrent.

SALARY RANGE:

$130,100.00 to $216,800.00/year
