Position Summary:
The Senior Vendor Relations Manager leads the vendor management process, overseeing the collection and analysis of vendor data. They work closely with senior leadership to develop vendor management strategies and ensure the successful completion of vendor-related initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the vendor management process for complex vendor-related initiatives, overseeing contract negotiations, monitoring performance, and ensuring alignment between needs and vendor services Develop and implement vendor management strategies in collaboration with senior leadership. Oversee the collection and analysis of vendor data Prepare vendor scorecards on multiple parameters not limited to financial, diversity, contractual compliance, delivery, quality thus rating the risk of doing business with supplier and share timely reports with leadership. Work on vendor management tools like Archer, Ariba, Coupa, Workday or any other is a must. Work on anti-money laundering, corruption and the process of supplier due diligence is must. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to gather necessary information using tools and technology. Review and validate vendor documents for completeness and accuracy. Analyze vendor capabilities and develop competitive vendor management proposals. Maintain accurate records of vendor activities and outcomes. Participate in vendor strategy meetings and provide input. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Mentor and support junior team members.

 

Technical Skills

Bachelor's degree with minimum 8 years of experience in Vendor management and procurement with working experience in vendor management function with multiple category suppliers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with internal stakeholders and outside suppliers Creative & strategic thinking with competitive attitude to work in
