Senior Veterinary Campus Recruiting Manager

Our Opportunity:

Chewy is on the lookout for a Senior Recruiting Manager to join our Campus Team. In this unique role, you will partner with the Veterinary Relations Team to spearhead strategic programming aimed at attracting emerging talent for our rapidly growing Healthcare and Veterinary space. The ideal candidate for this role is a program manager and full-cycle recruiter who can craft a long-term strategy that aligns with Chewy’s P-0s, all while prioritizing the candidate’s experience. We are looking for someone who will be a key driver of cross-functional relationships and a strategic partner to the business, leading the way in hiring and championing Customer First practices!

 

What You’ll Do:

Participate in building and launching the Healthcare and Veterinary Campus Strategy aligned to the organization’s P-0sBuild recruiting strategies and drive execution to ensure goals are metFoster a relationship with Healthcare Leaders and cross-functional partnersPartner closely with cross-functional partners, like the Veterinary Relations Team, to understand their needs to identify the right talentTrack program goals, metrics, and performance; regularly communicate status and resultsConceptualize, operationalize, and complete Healthcare Campus Strategy and hiring demandDrive the creation, execution, and pipeline management for in-clinic student job opportunities, starting with veterinary students and potentially growing to vet techsOwn the Veterinary Student Ambassador Program and Executive Sponsorship Program for our Tier 1 Veterinary Medical SchoolsRepresent CVC at veterinary school career fairs, manage the company’s presence, and improve Chewy’s brand as a leading employerManage the pipeline for future opportunities at CVC hospitals, ensuring alignment with hiring demand and organizational growthWork with the TA Marketing team to create engaging marketing materials to promote student programs and amplify visibility through the Student Ambassador networkServe as the primary point of contact for campus candidates, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout their program involvement

 

What You’ll Need:

7+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment2+ years of program management experience within the Talent Acquisition functionProven track record to build and scale veterinary recruiting programsVeterinary Medicine experience is preferredFamiliarity with veterinary education programs and early career engagement strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with consistent track record of taking initiative and building strong, positive relationshipsTravel expectations, up to 25%
