What you'll do:

Western Alliance Bank (WAB) is seeking a Senior Vice President, Private Banking to support the Private Client Group (PCG). This competitive and driven individual will be responsible for collaborating with multiple business lines, including PCG, to generate both purchase and refinance loans for WAB clients and prospects.

The Senior Vice President, Private Banking will initiate partnerships with all business lines and their leadership, ensuring they are well informed about our Private Mortgage offerings while identifying opportunities for WAB to expand personal and business relationships of our clients. The Senior Vice President, Private Banking will also work directly with third-party referral sources (Realtors, Builders, CPA’s, Financial Advisors, etc.) to generate both purchase and refinance loans for Clients and will refer acquired clients to the Private Client Group or other WAB appropriate bankers to expand the relationship with deposits and CRE and/or commercial loans. Building rapport and analyzing clients’ financial situations are essential components of this role, as is determining the most suitable loan products to meet their goals. • States Licensing: Company paid licensing, continuing education, and annual state/NMLS renewalsSpeak with borrowers to assess their loan requirements. Consult with clients on loan options that are best suited for their needs, clearly present benefits and options.Be the go-to person for the borrower throughout the loan application process.Ensure a seamless and smooth process for the client by building a strong partnership with the operations team.Ability to utilize technology and applications to multitask and to manage various milestones throughout the Home Borrower Journey. You will collaborate with AmeriHome Mortgage Colleagues to facilitate transactions for a smooth Home Borrower Journey.  Assist borrowers with purchase transactions by working with the Private Client Group and WAB business units, and importantly, by utilizing your Centers of Influence.Maintain pre-established daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s (Key performance indicators)

What you'll need:

Bachelor’s Degree and ten (10) or more years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of experience and education.Proven successful consumer lending sales experience (minimum 6 years), working Agency, FHA and Jumbo products including Non-QM.Proficient computer skills including computer software such as Encompass (LOS) and Velocify (CRM).Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (Bilingual fluency a plus).Must have strong sales and closing techniques.Ability to take initiative and responsibility.Strong problem-solving ability with multiple systems and scenarios.Organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Some traveling required, approximately 10-20%.

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $207,535.00 - $256,365.00 for Beverly Hills, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
