Purpose of the Position:
ICF is a rapidly growing consulting company, doubling in size roughly every five years, driven in part by delivering our capabilities in Digital Transformation/IT Modernization to Federal Civilian customers. Our deep understanding of client missions, combined with multi-tech fluency, data, and process excellence, allows us to deliver transformative digital solutions that redefine what’s possible, especially when the stakes are high, and the path is uncharted. As such, ICF is looking for a new leader to run a $200M+ Division focused on IT Modernization in the Federal Civilian space. This person will lead the delivery of our IT Modernization business while synthesizing and leveraging our market advantage to further grow our company and help our clients succeed in their missions.

In this exciting role, the Federal Civilian IT Division Leader will serve alongside the other IT Modernization and Next Government division leaders within the Digital Modernization and Experience (DMX) group. The new Leader will focus specifically on expanding our technology footprint within DHS, DOJ, Treasury, USDA, and other key Federal Civilian accounts.

While the successful candidate is ideally based in the Washington, DC area to facilitate regular in-person meeting requirements across ICF offices and client sites, remote candidates will be considered. If remote, regular travel to the Washington, DC area will be required.

Key Responsibilities:
The Division Leader will oversee a portfolio of established and growing customer accounts in the Federal Civilian sector and will be accountable for developing strategy, managing the Division P&L (achieving revenue, leading delivery & growth, and meeting profitability goals), and equipping our people to deliver their best work. Within the DMX group, the SVP will manage senior staff to ensure quality delivery across federal IT projects, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, recruit, retain, and manage a team of talented IT professionals, and build and win a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other Growth and Practice Leaders to drive revenue growth across the Division and the organization. She/He will drive organic growth in the Federal Civilian vertical, leveraging existing relationships, solutions, and contracts. Federal Civilian is a paramount area of capability and opportunity for ICF as the largest vertical market across the company. Success depends on many groups across ICF and its recent acquisitions. The right leader will bring competencies in driving integration and collaboration, building consensus, and inspiring teams to work toward shared goals.

Skills & Competencies:
The ideal candidate is a proven IT leader with a track record of superior client service delivery and will possess exceptional people leadership, P&L management, and growth capabilities. This role requires a driven, action-oriented team player with previous experience in an executive leadership role who can foster relationships with potential clients and utilize their network of federal government clients and industry partners to shape business opportunities. The successful candidate will be a master at translating Federal agency requirements, operations, and programs into new ICF engagements and relationships driven by best-in-class technology solutions.

Who We're Looking For:

A leader with a proven track record of growth within a digital modernization or technology implementation consulting business, directed towards Federal Civilian clients, and Full and Open Prime Contracts.

Demonstrated experience leading and growing an application and portfolio modernization business unit.

A collaborative connector who has successfully developed a growth strategy and worked closely with business development teams on large-scale capture strategies and proposals.

A technology expert, able to advise Federal clients on the changing landscape of IT modernization and data analytics.

Required Experience:
