CoreAI is Publicis Groupe’s long-term strategic initiative to develop an AI-powered data and intelligence layer across the Groupe, bringing together all our data and platforms under one single entity. The Groupe Solutions Leadership team is responsible for bringing this to life: enhancing our agency talent with the highest fidelity data and best applications to power personalization and brand growth.
SVP, Vertical Lead Key Responsibilities
The Senior Vice President, Vertical Lead will be responsible for defining and designing the AI vision for Financial Services engagements. The candidate will define comprehensive go-to-market strategies tailored to meet the unique needs and challenges of the vertical. In addition to vision setting and go-to-market strategy definition, the candidate will also lead client specific CoreAI opportunities, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to identify sell-in opportunities, shape client engagements and tailor solutions to client-specific needs where applicable.
The ideal candidate will interface with Clients directly to understand their needs in the sector and collaborate with cross-functional Groupe leaders like Sapient & Epsilon Vertical Leads, GCL’s, Agency leaders, to build the solution design and commercial offering. This role requires a visionary leader with deep industry knowledge to ensure the CoreAI offer is market-leading, enhancing customer experiences.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in strategy, media, marketing technology & data-driven solutions, technology operations, and have direct experience with business development, project management, product marketing, agency service frameworks, and organizational design.
**Responsibilities**
**Vertical Vision & Go-To-Market Strategy**
+ **Establish vertical strategy and vision:** Define the overarching vision, priorities and market positioning for the capability, crafting go-to-market strategies tailored to the unique opportunities and challenges of the vertical
+ **Shape scalable value streams:** Develop and prioritize "now, near, next" value streams, balancing scalable AI solutions with bespoke client-focused objectives and proposals
+ **Define CoreAI commercial offerings:** Create comprehensive commercial offerings, including tailored value propositions, clear offerings and engagement models to address market demands and client needs
+ **Foster cross-functional collaboration:** Partner with Groupe GCLs, agency vertical leads, and engagement teams to ensure CoreAI strategies align with market expectations and drive measurable client value.
+ **Market Analysis and Insights:** Analyze market trends, competition, and evolving needs within the vertical sector they oversee, to create market-leading strategic direction and unique solutions
**Client Portfolio Management & Engagement Shaping:**
+ **Manage Opportunities Within the Vertical Portfolio:** Strategically manage and grow the portfolio of key clients, identifying and developing opportunities to deliver impactful solutions.
+ **Customize and Drive CoreAI Engagements:** Lead the design and sell-in of CoreAI engagements, aligning solutions to client-specific objectives and crafting compelling commercial proposals
+ **Bridge Client Needs with Delivery Teams:** Support translation of client objectives into high-level requirements that guide data science, engineering, and delivery teams, ensuring alignment and feasibility
+ **Ensure Seamless Handoffs** : Oversee a smooth transition of sold-in engagements to designated delivery and account teams, maintaining continuity and clarity for all stakeholders
+ **Foster Strategic Relationships** : Build and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders across Publicis Groupe and client organizations, advocating for AI innovation and fostering adoption of transformative solutions
**Qualifications**
+ Can skillfully coordinate and problem solve across cross-functional teams and fosters highly productive relationships to solve business challenges, identify growth opportunities, and enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, resourceful team lead with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
+ Are an excellent creative thinker with the ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
+ Demonstrated experience in process improvement and operational excellence
+ Have excellent judgment while working on high-priority, confidential initiatives
+ Keep senior management apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key

Compensation Range: $176,000 - $288 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
