Job Description

The Senior Vice President – Business Development is responsible for building and delivering a sales strategy for the assigned industry sector through planning, targeting, and pursuing large complex contracts to deliver against our growth goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy

Create a sales strategy for the territory for assigned industry sector to build on our successes and achieve greater growth Build and lead a team to execute on the strategyParticipate with sales leadership to build a sustainable and differentiated plan that enables us to win more $10M+ global RPO contractsIdentify and actively pursue targeted accounts, ensuring alignment to our sectors and business prioritiesEnsure our value proposition and sales strategy remains closely aligned with the business needs, balanced against market expectations

Sales Execution

Act as a trusted advisor working with C-suite executives and human resources leadership teams to identify both business and talent management challenges and opportunitiesLead all aspects of the sales processCollaborate with the client and Cielo’s Solution Design and Enabling Excellence teams to provide tailored solutionsCollaborate with bid management and other key identified resources throughout organization to deliver impactful, creative, and relevant proposals and presentations during the sales processShowcase superior leadership, teamwork, organizational and communications skills in a client -facing role across a geographically dispersed customer baseAchieve assigned sales quota with assigned expectations for profitabilityAchieve new account acquisition targets through top target identification, networking, and outbound sales effortsComplete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame

Partnership Initiatives

Partner closely with Sector MD’s and other members of client servicesCollaborate effectively with colleagues across Revenue OperationsPartner closely with Products teamProvide insights into assigned industry sector to colleaguesActively participate as a member of the Global Leadership TeamSeek cross selling opportunities and collaborate with colleagues as appropriateQualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

Significant experience in successfully winning complex, multi-country RPO contractsExperience building relationships with senior level stakeholders, internally and externallyExperience of building a sales strategyExperience in aligned industry sector (Technology, Healthcare, Life Science, Advanced Manufacturing, Consumer Brands, or Business Services)

Exposure:

Excellent interpersonal skills and communication, verbal and writtenProven negotiation skills including closing complex dealsAbility to influence at all levels including C SuiteCreative thinker, can demonstrate identifying creative solutionsHigh level of business acumenActive learner, keeps up to date with latest RPO, HR, and business trends
