As the Senior Vice President of Commerce for The CNET Group at Ziff Davis, you will be responsible for building and executing on a long-term affiliate commerce strategy across multiple websites (CNET, PCMag, Mashable, Lifehacker, ZDNet, Extreme Tech) and product verticals (Tech, Home, Money, Wellness, Sleep, Energy, etc). You will focus on optimizing existing revenue streams, finding new growth opportunities, strengthening our strategic partnerships and driving close collaboration within our cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:Set long-term strategic vision for the Affiliate Commerce business within The CNET Group Develop and execute on annual revenue and EBITDA plans for the business Own day to day P&L management and operations of commerce business; drive team to increase traffic to commerce articles, optimize engagement and conversion on commerce content and grow overall affiliate commerce revenueBuild out effective performance management infrastructure and reporting to keep all stakeholders informed of performance trends and teams accountable for their individual KPIsLead, motivate and drive performance for a cross-functional team across SEO, content, paid media, UX, and product disciplinesWork with industry-leading brands to develop win-win solutions that leverage our capabilities to advance their strategic goalsDevelop a go to market strategy to source and cultivate new clients who can leverage our marketing capabilities and proprietary tech platform in a highly aligned partnership modelManage affiliate commerce paid arbitrage business; deploy paid media as a lever to scale our business, strengthen strategic partnerships and grow our reachServe as part of The CNET Group’s Executive Leadership Team, helping to shape future business growth and team cultureCollaborate with the internal leaders to identify and pursue cross functional growth opportunitiesRecruit and scale your team to meet the growing demands of the businessLead via influence internally, coaching and developing cross-functional talent to hone Business Development muscles in a remote first environment Play a key role in Ziff Davis’s M&A strategy. Salary Disclosure: Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The base pay for this position ranges from $175,000 to $250,000, plus incentive compensation (for eligible roles only), 401K with company match, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long-term disability, and a flexible time off policy.
