Job Overview:
As the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Technology, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the company's strategic initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the company’s technology efforts. You will drive innovation, develop cutting-edge technology solutions, and ensure seamless execution across the enterprise.
This role involves close collaboration with other senior leaders to support Leslie’s growth objectives, enhance system infrastructure, and leverage technology to deliver a competitive advantage. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership style, adept at navigating modern technology trends in a fast-paced public company environment. As a key leader, you will also foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that aligns with Leslie’s vision and values.
Responsibilities:
Develop and lead Leslie’s long-term technology vision and roadmap, aligning with the overall business strategy. Drive continuous improvement and technology innovation, keeping the organization at the forefront of industry trends, digital transformation, and technology advancements. Oversee all aspects of Leslie’s IT infrastructure, including systems, networks, and security, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and reliable. Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing technology team fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure that technology services and solutions meet Leslie’s needs. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, while also developing and overseeing cybersecurity strategies to safeguard Leslie’s assets. Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring the efficient allocation of both internal and external resources to achieve strategic objectives. Work closely with other C-suite leaders to ensure technology initiatives align with and support key business objectives. Present technology plans and updates to the board of directors, investors, and other key stakeholders.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 10-15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity (CTO, SVP, etc.) in a public company environment. Proven experience managing large teams, driving innovation, and building a strategic vision. Deep understanding of technology trends, especially around cloud computing, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and data analytics. Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including board members and investors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make strategic decisions in high-pressure situations. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards related to technology, data privacy, and security for publicly traded companies.
