作为中国上海工作室的资深视觉设计,您将负责全阶段游戏的视觉设计方面的工作。我们需要您的帮助,为我们的玩家制作高质量素材,吸引他们并使他们沉浸在游戏世界中。您将向游戏项目负责人汇报,并与其他美术同事和设计师合作,共同为我们的玩家带来令人愉悦的视觉体验,您还将与游戏发行市场及制作人合作,负责定义游戏品牌视觉调性,并打造符合设计趋势及玩家审美的品牌视觉形象,吸引更多的玩家了解并体验我们的游戏。

职责描述:

设计游戏内的视觉素材,定义符合项目创意目标和艺术方向的视觉风格 创建视觉平衡且直观的视觉效果,展现出对可读性、层次结构和玩家行为的出色理解 与策划及美术合作,制作游戏内及游戏相关的,符合功能需求、玩家易用性和视觉设计目标的视觉效果。 与游戏发行及制作人合作,制定创意愿景,给予有效的视觉设计策略支持,并完成创意愿景中的关键视觉设计工作。 与外部合作商紧密合作,制作合适的视觉资产,监修设计过程和最终成品,确保视觉资产符合项目需求及品牌标准。 运用对图形设计、互动设计、布局、字体设计、色彩规划及插画的深刻理解,创造精良的视觉品质及舒适的玩家体验 在整个项目中延伸视觉主题,建立风格指南和视觉设计规范 设定专业质量标准

资质要求:

拥有6年以上游戏研发或游戏宣发相关的视觉设计经验 拥有至少一款已上线运营游戏的视觉设计经验 拥有广告行业或印刷行业经验 精通Adobe CC产品,包括Photoshop和Illustrator等

理想资质:

了解品牌视觉设计内容及流程,有较丰富的品牌服务案例 了解游戏发行流程,包括目标用户理解及市场分析、游戏各个阶段的发行策略、游戏内容的推广及视觉传达、各个平台的推广规则等 了解游戏开发流程,包括需求理解、团队合作,设计推进和落地、设计优化、本地化开发等 在其他领域的经验,如插画、分镜或3D建模

That's where you come in.

As a Visual Designer at Riot, you'll create exceptional player experiences by leveraging your expertise in system design, graphic design, interactivity, layout, typography, color theory, and illustration. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve art and design challenges, asking questions about the "what," "who," and "how" when addressing UI or communication challenges, always with the player in mind.

As a Rioter in China, you'll join a team of internationally and culturally diverse professionals that share our prioritization of player experience, rejection of convention and maniacal passion for gaming. 

To reinforce Riot’s collaborative culture in our China offices, we’ve decided to do away with the constraints of traditional hierarchical title structures that are more common in the region. Titles don’t really matter at any of Riot’s offices, but we chose to take this extra step in our China offices to foster a space where teamwork thrives. We believe that removing this constraint will promote individual autonomy, ownership, collaboration, and a focus on results. We promise you won’t need a title at Riot to make an impact.

Responsibilities: Design in-game visual assets that align with the project’s creative goals and art direction. Create visually balanced and intuitive designs, showcasing strong understanding of readability, hierarchy, and player behavior. Collaborate with designers and artists to produce visuals that meet functionality, player usability, and design goals, both in-game and related to the game. Work with publishing and EP to define creative vision, provide effective visual design strategies, and deliver key visual design elements for the creative vision. Partner with external vendors to produce appropriate visual assets, oversee the design process and final products, ensuring they meet project needs and brand standards. Utilize your deep understanding of graphic design, interactive design, layout, typography, color theory, and illustration to deliver high-quality visuals and enhance the player experience. Extend visual themes across the project, establish style guides and visual design standards. Set professional quality benchmarks. Required Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in visual design for game development or game publishing. Experience with visual design for at least one live game. Experience in the advertising or print industry. Proficiency in Adobe CC products, including Photoshop and Illustrator. Desired Qualifications: Understanding of brand visual design content and processes, with extensive experience in brand services. Knowledge of game publishing processes, including target audience insights, market analysis, publishing strategies for different game stages, content promotion, visual communication, and platform-specific promotion rules. Familiarity with game development processes, including requirement understanding, teamwork, design progression and implementation, design optimization, and localization. Experience in related fields such as illustration, storyboarding, or 3D modeling.
