What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
Accountabilities:
Perform all Inbound or Outbound tasks and responsibilities for a Med DC.Execute all training programs and curricula for the site:New Employee Orientation (NEO)QRA & EHS initial, annual, and refresher training (MyLearning and MySpark)On the job trainingPIT trainingPossesses an outstanding facilitation skill set; a true extrovert with amazing relationship building and people skillsExtraordinary ability to provide a welcoming environment for our new hires and to contribute to our new employee experienceSupports the training and skills improvement of new and existing employeesMaintain and update training records and certifications for all employeesAct as a site champion for all training questions and issues from associates related to the Inbound or Outbound operationsRegularly solicit feedback on opportunities to improve training programsRetain appropriate PIT licenses and certifications related to the jobDevelop and execute action plans to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) related to the effectiveness of the training programShift:
Sunday-Thursday (Sunday 1pm start, Mon-Thu 4pm start - completion)Associates must be flexible to work across shifts based on business need. This includes AM, PM, and possibly weekends.Hours may vary but will not be less than 40 per week.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred some college preferred.Proficient in Microsoft office.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shiftAbility to lift up to 50 poundsComfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularlyQualities We’re Looking For:
