Primary Purpose of Role:
The Senior Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for continuously improving Supply Chain warehousing processes, by utilizing lean principles to reduce cost and improve responsiveness, quality, and work environment safety. This position is also responsible for managing and implementing the PDC capital plan. Work is performed independently with some general direction received from supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the PDC Continuous Improvement and PDC Safety Teams.Manages the environmental process at the PDC, participating in all internal and external audits.Train employees on new processes and audit for conformance.Meet budget commitments and control costs.Manages the packaging engineering activity to ensure proper protection for material in storage and transit.Manages suppliers of packing materials and supplies. Responsible for controlling costs.Manage the PDC Capital processWork with Product Line Teams on new business that affects the warehouse.Works with facilities on trades needs for equipment maintenance, as well as special projects.Implement and actively support the plant and corporate safety policies and initiatives.Assists in troubleshooting of equipment issues.Key Performance Measures:
