A Brief Overview
Senior Warehouse Managers are responsible for overseeing and leading a group of 50-200 warehouse personnel who work receiving, moving, picking and shipping product throughout our warehouse and integration operations. Responsibilities include leading multi-layered teams developing leaders and individual contributors, planning capacity, driving scaling and efficiency and directing staff in support our department goals and objectives. The position reports to a Director or Senior Director of Operations.

Job Responsibilities: 

Strategically creates and improves organization's equipment operation best practices ensuring operators adhere to policy Reviews the operating strategy in the context of business goals and market dynamics to identify key process improvement opportunities within the business unit/function. Holds managers and employees accountable for successfully implementing process improvement initiatives. Compares overall business performance before and after large and complex process improvements to analyze the impact. Ensures the appropriate techniques to plan production capacity are correctly used and that optimal solutions are implemented when short-term constraints or capacity issues arise. Develops new strategies and designs to effectively order, ships and manages warehouse materials in order to ensure a consistent flow for production and satisfy demand Provides guidance and expertise to analyze data and patterns and assesses the root cause of complex, non-routine problems. Collaborates with others across disciplines to brainstorm and executes solutions to the most complex, uncommon problems. Guides the execution of solutions for complex, non-routine issues; redirects solution implementation if desired results were not originally met. Leads discussions with multiple stakeholders, reiterating and reflecting on various (and sometimes conflicting) messages to ensure broad understanding. Recognizes a spectrum of verbal and nonverbal/behavioral cues and coaches others on how to observe and interpret those cues. Validates and leads others to come to agreement on a point of view or solutions Provides leadership and guidance to managers in structuring projects and goals of the business unit/function. Coordinates complex projects and provides guidance and training to managers or project leaders, ensuring that project teams remain focused on goals and deadlines. Promotes efficiency and time management in the business unit/function by modeling behaviors such as prompt decision making and meeting deadlines; reward the achievement of timely results. Promotes WWT safety guidelines. Drives teams to maintain a clean and organized (5S) warehouse operation.
