The Royal Caribbean Group’s Global E-Commerce Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Senior Web Content Producer reporting to the Manager, E-Commerce Digital Production.
This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary
Royal Caribbean is seeking a Sr. Web Producer to join its dynamic and growing eCommerce Web Content Team. The Sr. Web Producer will play a pivotal role in bringing together the content and assets of our brand, weaving them into compelling visual stories that resonate with our audience, and will be responsible for authoring and coordinating e-commerce content for a seamless execution of all web strategies and product information on the web.
This role will serve as the liaison between digital marketing strategies, stakeholder information and Go to Market campaigns and web content implementation. They will become the expert in AEM applications and all page templates to ensure the best user experience for each content type.
This role combines the responsibilities of a storyteller, product marketer, and technical expert, ensuring a seamless execution of all web strategies and product information on royalcaribbean.com.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development & Management: Gather, design, assemble, and code new marketing pages while maintaining and updating existing content. Ensure all web content aligns with brand guidelines and delivers a best-in-class user experience.
Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot HTML and JavaScript code as needed, in partnership with front-end Dev Team. Develop and apply technical expertise to assess and implement content and functionality updates across key web touchpoints.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with content strategists, designers, web development teams, and other producers to execute updates and create new pages. Serve as a liaison between digital marketing strategies, stakeholder information, and Go to Market campaigns for authoring execution.
Content Authoring & Coordination: Author and coordinate e-commerce content, ensuring accurate and clear product information and a clean web user experience. Become an expert in AEM applications and all page templates.
Project Management: Manage day-to-day authoring operations with our authoring agency, Sycamore, and front-end Dev Team. Verify the accuracy of authored content, update any errors, and oversee obstacle resolution.
Support & Leadership: Assist in organizing and overseeing authoring requests from stakeholders. Partner with Production Manager to request and oversee enhancement requests to product owners and development roadmap. Assist overseeing Site Refresh implementations.
Strategic Implementation: Collaborate with Content Strategists to support digital strategies and Go to Market product launches by fulfilling content updates or adding new pages.
Measurement & Performance Strategy: Develop and execute a measurement and performance strategy for web content authoring. Generate monthly reports with data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide actionable recommendations for authoring optimizations to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.
Qualifications and Education
Intermediate experience with front-end development – HTML, CSS, Javascript
Intermediate experience with web design and UI - portfolio desired upon request
Intermediate experience with responsive mobile UI
Experience working in a content management system (Knowledge of enterprise systems like Adobe Experience Manager preferred)
Experience working with optimization and personalization tools such as Monetate, Optimizely or Adobe Target is a nice to have.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, web design, web development or similar
5-6 years of professional experience with web content strategy.
In-depth knowledge managing of content for one or more of the following: digital campaigns, websites and landing pages, emails, mobile applications.
2+ years of experience working within a content management system.
Flexibility to changing priorities and being able to work on several projects simultaneously.
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation communication skills and the ability to inspire others.
Experience with information management and organization, including website information architecture, database, and file/asset management
Strong communication and organization skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Motivated self-starter, able to work independently and with a team on large, department-wide projects
Proactive and resourceful thinker, proposing new ideas and thinking strategically about the tasks in front of them
