OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

As a Senior Web Development Engineer, you will be a key player in our engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality code that meets both functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and Develop: Lead the architecture, design, and development of robust, scalable web applications using modern web technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, TypeScript) and frameworks (Nextjs, Remix etc.)

Code Review and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices and code quality standards are maintained across the team.

Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal user experience and application efficiency.

Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive and user-friendly web interfaces.

Technical Leadership: Drive innovation by staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development, proposing and implementing improvements to the existing architecture.

Testing and Debugging: Implement and advocate for automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) to ensure code stability and reliability.

Security: Ensure web applications adhere to the highest security standards, implementing best practices for data protection and privacy.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring that codebase and workflows are well-documented and easily understood by team members.
 

What Will You Need:

Experience: 5+ years of professional web development experience with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in modern web technologies.

Expertise: Proficient in front-end frameworks/libraries such as React and backend technologies like Node.js. Strong experience with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and RESTful APIs.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand complex systems and resolve issues.

Version Control: Experience with Git and version control workflows in a collaborative environment.

Agile Methodologies: Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment with experience in CI/CD pipelines.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Good to have:

Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

UI/UX Design: A good eye for design with experience in creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces.

Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.

Open Source Contributions: Active participation in the open-source community or contributions to relevant projects.
