Are you ready to take on the role of Senior Welding Engineer for a major Oil and Gas company? As a certified welding inspector with experience in the field, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our projects. Join our team in Nanterre, France and make a significant impact in the industry.

Role Overview
  Certified Welding Inspector: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Engineering Documents & Drawings: Review and prepare project-specific deliverables. Welding Engineering (optional): Provide technical support and expertise in welding processes. Oil And Gas Field Experience: Utilize knowledge and experience in the field to enhance project execution. Technical Meetings: Participate in technical meetings with clients, partners, and subcontractors. Audits: Conduct audits to ensure quality and compliance with specifications. Client And Partner Specifications: Review and adhere to client and partner specifications. Sub-Contractor Technical Documentation Review: Manage the review of sub-contractor's technical documentation. Commercial Clarifications: Respond to technical queries during the clarification process. Gap Analysis of Design and Fabrication Codes: Perform gap analysis of relevant design and fabrication codes. Selection Of Welding Processes: Identify and select the most suitable welding processes for specific activities. Technical Support for QC And Field Engineers/Construction Managers: Provide technical support to QC and field engineers/construction managers. On-Site Assistance for Yards/Vendors Technical Issues: Resolve technical issues at yards/vendors.
Skills & Qualifications Certified Welding Inspector: Must have IWE certification. Oil And Gas Field Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the field. Fluent In English: Must be able to work proficiently in English. Engineering Knowledge: Full knowledge of relevant standards (ASME, EN/ISO, DNV, API, AWS, ASTM, etc.). NDE Certification (optional): Level 2/3 certification will be a plus. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office Package, Adobe Acrobat, Autodesk, etc. Self-Managing and Dynamic: Ability to work independently and be proactive. Teamwork And Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education & Experience Qualifications: MSc Degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering or Materials & Metallurgy preferred. Certifications: IWE certification is mandatory. NDE certification (Level 2/3) is advantageous. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in welding engineering, structural fabrication, pressure vessel, quality, and non-destructive examination for O&G contracts.
