Work Environment
We are looking for a Senior Wind Engineer to support efficiently the expansion of our services in APAC. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of wind farm projects. This position involves providing advanced technical expertise, supporting project teams, and ensuring the successful execution of engineering tasks. You will evolve in an international environment and work in close coordination with other teams throughout the company in order to deliver projects at the highest quality standards.
You will be integrated in Tractebel Energy community, a worldwide network of Energy specialists keen on sharing their knowledge.
All your missions have to be performed with the highest standards of Quality / Safety / Legal / Ethics.
Missions
• You will report to the Wind Manager and the Head of Renewable APAC.
• Lead the technical of wind power plant, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct the wind studies for the greenfield and brownfield project phases.
• Conduct the techno-commercial feasibility study, technical due diligence, tender documents and tendering process, and project construction and execution.
• Conduct technical analyses and software simulations for wind power plant to optimize project LCOE or validate plant performance.
• Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with the project requirements, industry standards, and regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest wind technologies in onshore and offshore and integrate them into projects.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise.
• Support and share technical expertise with the engineering and project management team.
• Report the project status to the supervisor on a regular basis.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in wind farm engineering including project realization and follow-up. Proficiency in wind turbine system design and integration. Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles related to wind energy. Experience with relevant software tools (e.g., WindPRO, GIS, AutoCAD, MATLAB). Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data to provide energy optimization. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, GWO) are a plus. Fluency in Thai and English, both verbal and written skills. You are willing to travel for short term missions for project site visits.
