Senior Wind Turbine Technician

The Asset Management and Operational Services service line of Wood Clean Energy, has an opportunity for a Wind Turbine Technician to join our busy, friendly, and agile team who focus on operating, maintaining and optimising wind turbine generators. This is a permanent role, it will be particularly focused towards the 7 MW Levenmouth Development Turbine based in Fife. Working at other locations may also be required.

The Role 

 

We are inviting applications from people with prior experience working in the wind turbine technician role at the Authorised Technician level or above. 

Please note that we are ideally looking for someone who is living, or will relocate to, within commuting distance of our site-based office in Leven, Fife. There is also an inherent requirement with this role involving a moderate share of time conducting office-based work, not purely working within turbines

Wood’s Asset Management and Operational Services (AMOS) group consists of multi-disciplined service lines that provides project management and technical consultancy services and solutions to wind energy clients which includes developers, owners and operators for projects worldwide. Our teams consist of Analysis which provides wind measurement and accredited analysis services for power performance testing, bankable energy yield assessments, and Engineering and Operations teams that provide asset management services including meteorological mast and wind lidar for pre and post construction onshore and offshore wind energy projects.
