**Job Description**
_This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 2-3 per week averaging 10-12 days per month._
**Job Summary:**
This position will support the Delivery Pillar in Digital Workplace Engineering. This role will have ownership for the design and engineering of deployment solutions and automation for all Raymond James Windows endpoints, Support 2 for Desktop Support and innovation to Modernize and managing reporting, Tanium Infrastructure and reporting, deployment automation (Resolve/PowerShell workflows) and Chocolatey. The role will also provide consulting for independent advisor desktops, engineering and support.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Monitors the day-to-day performance of the infrastructure and works with project teams on the integration of new systems.
+ Creates strategies and develops resolutions for complex problems, incidents and outage situations. Provides third-level support for the workstation-supporting infrastructure.
+ Implement required security measures, and provide input on their design, monitoring performance to notify security experts of any problems.
+ Perform website/applications software tests and respond to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance issues.
+ Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.
+ Provide fault isolation and resolution for complex challenges to limit and address issues promptly.
+ Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
**Skills:**
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS
+ SME level knowledge of Tanium
+ Scripting experience with PowerShell
+ Knowledge of Microsoft - Intune / SCCM Hybrid management
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Entra administration
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Modern management in hybrid Entr environment.
+ Knowledge of Windows Workstation Operating Systems.
+ Experience with Group Policy deployments to workstation environment.
+ Knowledge of Application packaging and deployment
+ Knowledge of security best practices for Windows-based systems CIS benchmarks
+ Knowledge of basic IP network design practices and principles.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory architecture.
+ Experience with system monitoring and event analysis and troubleshooting skills.
+ Knowledge of virtualization concepts and technologies.
+ Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
+ Supports business processes without supervision by understanding and effectively using standard office equipment and standard software packages, while providing technical guidance as needed.
