RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan for designs/projects to deliver excellent quality of services for several years to come Audit network designs for over-design or under-design. Properly scope requirements for projects. Work and engage with other members outside of the engineering department. Train and work with operational level staff members. Understand and have in-depth knowledge of concepts such as: CCI, RSSI, RF Modulation, RADIUS, MCS Chart, 802.11r, 802.11k, 802.11ac, 802.11ax, Channel-Width, Channel Sizing, DFS, SNR, CBRS and OFDMA, WPA2, WPA3 and QAM Other duties as required or assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science and 7+ years’ experience in networking for Service Prosvider or medium-to-large Enterprises, with an emphasis on WiFi. Excellent understanding of Networking protocols (Cisco certification a plus) Excellent understanding of Wireless Design Tools such as iBwave, Ekahau and Air MagnetPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
Certified Wireless Design Professional Certified Wireless Analysis Professional Experience with Ruckus Smartzone/Ruckus Zone Director Experience in the telecommunication industry or with an ISPBENEFITS:
