What’s the mahi?
In this position as a Senior Consultant, you will be part of our successful Winning Work ANZ team, a group of highly skilled specialists who deliver innovative solutions.
The role offers a combination of strategic and hands-on involvement in major opportunities, and you will join the locally based Winning Work New Zealand team, working closely with Industry and Client Leaders to identify and pursue key opportunities in the market. You will also provide advice, coaching and facilitation to portfolio and bid teams throughout the bid process – from Engage/Pursuit through to Debrief. And you will collaborate with the broader APAC Winning Work and creative support teams.
Although this role is New Zealand focussed, you will also have the opportunity to work on cross-market initiatives with the ANZ team and other portfolio leads according to business priorities.
Key role components include:
Bid strategy – working with industry directors and client leaders to understand client needs, develop winning strategies and determine how to make Aurecon stand out
Bid management – manage an efficient, effective bid programme to meet all internal and external deadlines, including appropriate reviews and SME inputs.
Bid writing – work with technical SMEs and bid teams to produce high quality, bespoke content, that promotes Aurecon’s offering and meets the client/project needs.
Commercial insight – participate in bid commercial discussions, contribute insightful advice and ideas and translate commercial strategy back into documentation.
Client presentations – support the development of high quality, bid presentations that are on brand and aligned to our wider strategy. Help prepare and coach technical teams before they meet our clients.
Bid feedback – facilitate bid debriefs and lessons learnt sessions. Analyse previous bid performance to identify trends, refine future submissions and increase success rates.
