Senior Workday HCM Business Systems Analyst
What You'll Do Avalara is looking for a talented Workday subject matter expert in hire to retire lifecycle to own, innovate, design, and scale our Workday HCM related processes and systems serving both internal and external business partners. This role requires a passion to enhance HCM product quality through technical proficiency, team mentoring and business partnership skills. **Must have 7+ years of experience with Workday HCM** Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. What You'll Need to be Successful Qualifications: A minimum of 7+ years of relevant professional experience in supporting/implementing HCM applications in a corporate HRIS/IT role. Supported at least TWO end-to-end implementations of Workday HCM. Understanding of the impacts to HCM processes and data feeds to other internal and external applications related to the relevant processes. Hands-on configuration experience of Workday Core HR, Security and Business Processes. Ability to create, deploy, and maintain Workday custom reports and dashboards for technology team. A natural inclination to work in an open and transparent manner with team members. Effective verbal and written communication skills to explain options from multiple viewpoints. Preferred Qualifications: Workday Pro Certifications.
