(Senior) Workplace Associate
Hong Kong The opportunity:

The Workplace team in APAC is dedicated to building up the best in class workplace for our energetic team in the region. As a young corporate, employee experience is something we nurture a lot which requires the Workplace team to own it. As a member of the APAC Workplace Team,your mission will be to proactively understand the needs of the Flexport team and drive workplace improvement to balance the customer experiences and annualised budget. This is the golden opportunity to be the driving force of one of the best workplaces in the region. 

You will:  Act as reception in designated offices. Manage offices and/or warehouses as they come online in your territory. Manage all vendors across facilities and office-related functions including but not limited to daily lunch service, cleaning service, office utilises, courier services and event partners.  Manage all bills and purchase orders across facilities and office-related functions. Work to implement strategies and events to keep employees active and engaged in Flexport culture Help maintain the appearance of the office including but not limited to conference rooms, kitchens, and common areas. Keep the office in compliance with monthly audits and hold the team accountable to a high standard of security for employee safety.  Ability to oversee and manage an assigned budget. Partner with the Global Head of Real Estate & Workplace Services on new office location set up and opening. Communicate with building management, assuring the office operates within building rules and regulations. Manage space planning efforts and all internal office moves. Work in conjunction with the IT, finance, compliance and legal team implementing cross-functional projects. Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the General Manager. What you’ll need: A BS/BA degree and/or comparable experience required. 3+ years of experience in the workplace, ideally in a high-growth environment of 50+ people in the facility. Candidate with longer experience will be considered as Senior Workplace Associate.  Experience in setting up new offices is a plus A demonstrated ability to lead and build trusting, collaborative relationships within the team A passion for people.  Strong communication skills in Cantonese and English (Manadrin is a plus) A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments within a complex organization A structured and organized approach to your work A strong sense of urgency and personal accountability (you take the initiative to make things happen) Professionalism including the ability to make a good first impression and demonstrate respectful, friendly, and welcoming behavior
