We are looking for a Senior Workshop Engineer to join our team. The resident Engineer at an authorized Workshop has the key role to grant Service Partner technical support, towards its compliancy with Wartsila standards in terms of Quality and Delivery.
The location for this position is in the Workshop at Tincasur in Puerto Real, Cadiz, Spain.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Senior Workshop Engineer, you should have technical background, strong technical writing, relationship effectiveness and multi-tasks handling capability. You need to become familiar with the Partner's way of working, becoming the reference contact for the Partner and, whenever necessary, for the Wärtsilä network. You may be requested to audit the Partner's field jobs, even though the primary role is for the Workshop. For this reason, the selected candidate will be part of the Region Mediterranean Workshop team.
As Senior Workshop Engineer your work will focus on these responsibilities:

Support the Partner to grant On-Time-In-Full scope delivery and, so, Customer satisfaction Support Partner in-process quality control Handle technical information to Partner and affiliates, according Wartsila IP protection directives
Responsibilities
Monitor and support the execution of Partner's jobs according to specifications and instructions Monitor the compliancy to Wartsila Health & Safety rules along jobs execution, supporting the Partner to embed Wartsila Safety culture Monitor the quality and consistency of Service Work Reports and Measurement Records, issued by Partner Run troubleshooting and support RCA process for relevant tasks and jobs, towards continuous improvement Actively support Wartsila to plan and procure needed tools and / or assets Monitor Partner's the execution of maintenance and control plans on Wartsila properties at site Support the Partner to draw the plans and to maintain proper competence level of own personnel Coach on-the-job Partner personnel in relevant activities Support and, whenever necessary, will coordinate Wartsila orders to the Partner.
Requirements for the position
Proven technical background and direct experience on field about 4S products and machining procedures. Strong verbal and written technical communication skills. Reporting and data analysis skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Fluent in English and Spanish (other Iberian languages are a plus). Customer-centric attitude. High integrity and safety culture.
