Senior WPE Officer
Purpose of the RoleThe Senior Officer - WPE will provide effective and efficient administrative support to enable the smooth functioning of the WPE team. This position will support the WPE team in maintaining files, databases, and documentation. The Senior Officer – WPE will maintain up-to-date records of all procurement requests. The position requires a personal commitment to advancing women's issues and working on behalf of women and girls in the host and the Rohingya community. The person will coordinate closely with the wider IRC WPE and will be supervised by the Senior Program Manager – WPE. 


Highlights of Key Responsibilities Effective administrative support to the WPE team including tracking expenses, processing bills and coordinating events and trainings. Assistant WPE team in maintaining files, database, and documentation.Support the WPE team and government liaison team to ensure timely submission of needs of assessment and compilation report. Take the lead on supply chain, finance, and logistics tasks in relation to the WPE team. Ensure purchase requests are made in a timely manner according to the procurement plan. Perform other related duties as required. Staff Supervision and Development:Maintain open, supportive, and professional relationships with all team members (IRC and partner organization).Ensure regular communication and close collaboration with the Senior Program Manager.Coordination & Representation:Maintain effective working relationships with IRC team members. Represent the IRC WPE team in camp-based coordination forums, giving updates on WPE activities, wider guidance on survivor-centered approaches and advocating for the safety and well-being needs of women and girls in the response.Other Duties: Extent additional support to the WPE team for any emergency/urgent assignments.
