Senior Zonal HIL Test Engineer

In this role you'll own and design the HIL to support our Zonal architecture and be responsible to create HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) test strategies, test cases and scripts based on internal. 

 

The minimum requirements we seek:

5+ years of testing and validation experience. Bachelor/master’s degree in Computer Science, electrical engineering, or similar. Working experience with Matlab Simulink Familiar with common vehicle controls theory Experience setting up the HIL on dSPACE/Typhoon/similar Knowledge of lab instruments such as DMM, Oscilloscope, power supplies, and DAQs Expertise with industry standard I/O and communications interfaces, e.g., CAN, CAN-FD, LIN and Ethernet Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills. Experience in Python scripting for any automation or test scripts. Expertise in testing any of the following: Vehicle Controls, Thermal Controls, Power Distribution, Body Controls

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with dSPACE and MotionDesk, CarSim, or similar Experience with Test management tools like DOORS/Polarion/JAMA Test automation set up experience like CI/CD Pipeline Familiarity with diagnostics protocol like UDS ISO14229 Knowledge/familiarity of standards ISO26262 and SAEJ1772 Experience with automotive regulatory, environmental, reliability, and safety requirements. SAE, IEC, ISO.

Set-up test equipment and run hands-on tests with the goal to automate Support bug triage and analysis Identify gaps in test coverage to ensure no future regressions Utilize numerical data analysis tools to interpret test results Document results and provide reports Establish traceability using requirement management tools and version control
