The Sentinel Digital Ecosystem Segment Lead Chief Engineer is technical authority, owning the technical baseline for the Digital Ecosystem Segment. This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 14 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related experience, or PhD with 10 years of experience.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years and must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Able to lead a diverse team while cultivating a positive work environment.
Acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development, implementation, deployment, and support of complex systems.
Systems or Software engineering expertise throughout the program life-cycle
Demonstrated performance driving execution of complex projects with proven collaboration and coordination skills across internal and external stakeholder organizations
Able to communicate effectively at the highest levels. Viewed as expert in field within the corporation.
Develops plans and recommends technical approach to accomplish program requirements. Work accomplished typically supports long-range strategic goals.
Serves as consultant to leadership team in program-wide planning concerning new or projected areas of technological research and advancements.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with Project Life-cycle Management, manufacturing, sustainment and sustainment are a plus.
Experience and proficiency with Agile principles, processes and tools, Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), DOORS requirements management, Cameo EA, and the like.
Demonstrated experience in program adoption of digital engineering concepts, methods, and processes.
Proficiency with cloud-based environments, high performance computing, and virtualized environments.
Experience in developing requirements and verification plans, and negotiations with customer and user communities.
Demonstrated success as a CAM in planning and delivering technical capability while managing to cost and schedule.
Ability to perform cost and schedule analyses.
Salary Range: $162,500.00 - $223,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
