Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr Principal Systems Engineer (T04). This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.

What You’ll Get To Do:
Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
Determine tasking for yourself and others with minimum oversightUnderstand and apply system requirementsParticipate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical and integrated systemsMaintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirementsCreate technical reports and present technical informationRequirements coordination with systems engineers, specialty teams, and customerVerify specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysisSupport all phases of the systems life cycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposalReview customer deliverables, testing, and requirements verification. Bring technical information to boards including PERB, AERB and TRB (as applicable) for all variances, technical direction to supplier, etc.Support pre-ship reviews and coordination with ILS groupMaintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirementsLead and mentor team membersAssistance in planning and scheduling activitiesInterface with AF customer and SubcontractorReview/ approve Test Plans, Reports and review test data for electrical and mechanical componentsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 Years of related experience; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD (with 2 years of Systems Engineering experience)US Citizenship with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need1 years of experience with TeamCenter/NX1 years of experience with Agile, JIRA, Confluence1 years of experience with DOORS1 years of experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)Preferred Qualifications:

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
