This position will be located in **Roy, Utah or Colorado Springs, CO** and will support the **Sentinel program** . This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. **What You** **’** **ll Get To Do:** Selected candidate will be responsible for the architecture, development, and delivery of multiple assembly and test fixture engineering design solutions. This role provides the opportunity to be a technical expert, take ownership of the Special Test Equipment (STE) statement of work from concept design to product delivery, and to be one of the recognized Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) within the team for mechanical assemblies and fixtures. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. **You** **’** **ll Bring These Qualifications:** + 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree in a STEM field of study; 6 years with a Masters; 4 years with a PhD. + US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification. + At least 1 year of experience with stress and structural analysis + At least 1 year of experience with LRU fabrication and installation processes with hands-on experience + At least 1 year of experience with test fixture design + At least 1 year of experience with parts, materials, and process selection and manufacturing support + At least 1 year of experience with HW Qualification Testing **These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:** + US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification. + Expert level proficiency with design tools such as NX, AutoCAD, or Microsoft Visio + Prior experience in coordinating with multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) within a dynamic program environment + Experience with preparing and presenting oral and written reports + Familiarity with PM&P requirements per Aerospace TOR-2006(8583)-5235 / -5236 + Experience with DoD architectures and Industry/Military Standards (e.g. MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-331, MIL-STD-1901A and Mil-STD-461) **\#Sentinelintandtest** **Salary Range:** $107,800 - $161,800 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
