Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 3 - Program Execution & Operation to execute within the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) Program Execution and Operations (PE&O) team for the Sentinel Weapon System to be located in Roy, UT. The selected candidate will be responsible for Strategic Planning and Proposals management while also achieving all technical requirements to support value creating strategies and actions to stay on cost and on schedule. The individual will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals.

The candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business. Demonstrated abilities to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching, are a must. They will have an ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across the directorate business areas as required to accomplish team and department goals.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 8 years of related experience
• 3 years in a formal management position
• 1+ years experience in leading and/or writing proposals, Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and proposal technical volumes
• 1+ years experience in subcontractor management or external vendor relations
• 1+ years experience managing Non-Contractual Technical Activity (NCTA) or Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) packages
• 1+ year experience in managing Program Execution & Operations (PE&O) scope
• 1+ year experience working across multiple functional organizations
• Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead a team of approximately 20+ engineers and project managers
• Experience in Microsoft Project and creating schedules

•Current Sentinel Special Access Program (SAP) approval
• Self-directed technical leader
• Ability to organize, balance and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment
• Demonstrated people leadership skills and the ability to lead effectively in a diverse team environment

Salary Range: $161,500.00 - $242,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
