SEO Analyst

**Overview**
**JOB PURPOSE:**
The SEO Analyst is a junior analyst role responsible for enhancing the organic visibility and search engine ranking of Affordable Care’s network of more than 400 supported dental practices by implementing effective SEO strategies. This role involves conducting in-depth keyword research, optimizing on-page elements, assisting with technical SEO, and collaborating with internal and external teams to drive organic traffic and generate leads. The SEO Analyst will work closely with external SEO agencies and contribute to ongoing efforts to improve the online presence of our dental practices, with a focus on continuous optimization and growth.
**Responsibilities**
**GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ **Keyword Research & Strategy:** Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for organic traffic growth, focusing on high-impact keywords based on search volume, competition, and relevance to the dental healthcare industry.
+ **On-Page Optimization:** Optimize existing content, meta tags, headers, URLs, and images to ensure adherence to SEO best practices and provide a user-friendly experience.
+ **Technical SEO:** Assist in diagnosing and solving technical SEO issues, including site speed, crawling, and indexing, in collaboration with the web development team.
+ **Content Strategy Support:** Partner with internal and external content teams to align website content creation with SEO goals. Provide insights into evergreen topics, help structure content for SEO, and monitor performance.
+ **Partnering with SEO Agency:** Collaborate with the external SEO agency to coordinate strategy, share insights, and ensure the seamless implementation of SEO and digital PR initiatives. Regularly communicate with the agency to track progress and optimize joint efforts.
+ **Analytics and Reporting:** Track and report on key SEO metrics such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, and leads using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.
+ **SEO Audits:** Conduct regular website audits to identify issues affecting performance and propose actionable recommendations to improve search engine visibility.
**Qualifications**
**GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:**
+ Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page/off-page optimization, and technical SEO.
+ Knowledge of Local SEO strategies, particularly for healthcare providers, and experience managing Google Business Profiles.
+ Familiarity with Digital PR concepts, including link-building strategies, outreach efforts, and earned media placements.
+ Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SimilarWeb, Yext, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
+ Experience working with website content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge for SEO purposes.
+ Ability to analyze website performance data, interpret trends, and derive actionable insights.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, including SEO agencies.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Required:
+ 2-3 years of experience in SEO.
+ Experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics.
+ Understanding of Local SEO and experience managing Google Business Profiles.
+ Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
+ Strong ability to analyze SEO data and provide actionable insights.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
+ Preferred:
+ Experience with Kentico CMS.
+ Prior experience in the healthcare industry or familiarity with healthcare-specific digital strategies.
+ Understanding of paid search and how it intersects with organic search.
