What is the SEO Lead responsible for?We are searching for a passionate and experienced SEO Lead to spearhead our Search Engine Optimization (SEO). As a member of the Global Marketing team, you will help shape our SEO strategy, execute key SEO activities and partner with regional leaders to build the company’s organic search visibility across the globe.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of the SEO Lead?Define and implement the SEO strategy for FT’s websites around the world
Day-to-day management of SEO operations, including keyword research, competitor analysis & content optimization
Be the in-house SEO expert to advise, educate and support FT’s regional marketing teams on content creation and SEO best practices
Work closely with our development team to identify technical SEO issues & implement solutions
Leverage various SEO tools to report out on SEO performance and deliver actionable insights
Partner with internal and external teams to amplify Paid Search efforts
Work with regional marketing leaders and the Social Media Director to define the SEO content strategy for each market
What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone be successful?Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in SEO with a proven track record of success
Deep understanding of all aspects of SEO, including staying up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry developments
Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
Work is largely performed without direction; participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives
Excellent business judgement and ethics
Ability to show a portfolio of SEO results
Experience in delivering across multiple countries and regions is an asset.
Financial services marketing experience highly preferred, with a strong understanding of financial services and related verticals
Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards—monetary and non-monetary—designed to support the whole person and to recognize their time, talents, and results. Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between $80,000 - $100,000. Pay range and benefits are applicable to the US locations only, Canada will vary.
