Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) Marketing, Senior Associate

Asset Management’s U.S. Product Marketing team is responsible for creating an industry-leading product marketing experience across all client touchpoints, media, and distribution channels in the U.S. and Canada. Our Tax-Smart Platform offers SMAs and Model Portfolios that deliver tax-saving and customization benefits to investors and represents one of our firm's top strategic priorities.

As a Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) Marketing Senior Associate within Asset Management, you will work with investment teams and internal business partners to develop Tax-Smart SMA marketing content and promote J.P. Morgan’s expertise in this rapidly growing and highly competitive space. You will learn about innovative tax management capabilities and help build a strategically important marketing program. You will bring together various perspectives, believing that this approach will continue to differentiate us in the eyes of our clients, competitors, and each other.

Job responsibilities:

Develop engaging and client-centric Tax-Smart SMA product content through creative thinking and deep product knowledge, including product collateral, digital content, social media posts, and campaign components. Partner across Marketing, Investments, Product Strategy, Sales, and business partners to execute on cross-channel Tax-Smart SMA promotion, including new product launches, and drive financial advisor engagement. Build and maintain a collateral system of custom content for partner firms; collaborate with distribution marketing and sales on marketing requirements and promotion opportunities at each individual firm. Collaborate across Marketing to participate in a comprehensive Tax Solutions campaign and develop Tax-Smart SMA campaign deliverables. Support multiple Tax-Smart SMA projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines in a fast-moving environment through strong planning, excellent project management, and clear communication. Become an expert in our Tax-Smart capabilities, the basics of tax management, client and advisor challenges, industry trends, and key competitors to deliver the most impactful marketing content. Leverage engagement metrics and feedback to continuously optimize content for greater impact.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

5+ years of investments-related marketing experience and understanding of investment styles and vehicles, including Separately Managed Accounts. Exceptional project management skills – able to manage multiple priorities, communicate progress, and effectively track multiple deliverables to completion. Ability to problem-solve and re-prioritize quickly. Experience developing marketing content for print, web, mobile, audio, video, events, and social media platforms that demonstrate creative thinking and innovation. Excellent writing skills and the ability to partner with investment writers, proofreaders, and designers. Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to all levels of management and stakeholders through both written communications and presentations. Ability to develop relationships and credibility through effective collaboration with marketing, investment teams, sales, and business partners across multiple locations. Expertise in PowerPoint presentation development and strong proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft applications, including Acrobat and Excel. BA or BS degree.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Experience marketing tax-managed investment solutions or tax/estate planning advice. Experience tailoring marketing content to the needs of advisors in the Independent Broker Dealer, Wealth Management, and Registered Investment Advisor channels. Professional experience using LLM/AI tools to aid in the creation of content and drive efficiencies.
